Often, it’s easy for us to feel like we are losing control because of unwanted and overwhelming thoughts and emotions that can impact our ability to cope, adapt, and be in the present moment of our day-to-day. Navigating our healing journey can sometimes feel intimidating and challenging. I am here to provide you with a safe space to explore your life experiences. Through empathy, connection, and compassion, we will work together to achieve your goals. No matter what your goals are, we will cultivate a resilient foundation for change. I strive to work with you to explore and embrace your unique experiences, values, and worldview in a safe and comfortable environment to empower you in becoming the author of your own life story.

EXPERIENCE
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Yorkville University graduate with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Over the past eight years, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings mostly in the non-profit sector that focused on supporting both youth and adults (Canadian Mental Health Association, Hull Services – Recovery, Stabilization, Detox and PChAd, Rockyview Schools, The Women’s Resource Centre at the University of Calgary). Working with at risk and vulnerable populations has always been a passion of mine, and believe that it is our unique experiences

You will almost always find me with a cup of coffee or tea. …And a water bottle. …And a fizzy drink that I opened and forgot about so it’s not so fizzy anymore. Oops?
I love to colour and watch TV in my spare time. Snuggled up on the couch with a warm drink, my little corgi, and a show I have already seen a million times and I am SO set.

I often feel at my best when spending time in nature, especially around the garden or surrounded by lots of foliage. I love being surrounded by plants so much, that I have about 40 house plants. Somebody stop me! (Or don’t…)
